Hallelujah Divisions

(Dance Company for August 2024) 

We are so excited to be holding auditions for Hallelujah Dance School. We are a team united under Christ, and our Dance Company will train for Ministry, Revivals, and Performances for our Lord Jesus Christ. In August 2024, we will have open auditions for ages 8 and up. Sign-up for auditions will be on the website and there will be a $11 fee on the Audition Day. Our dance company is for those seeking more professional and pure-hearted dancing for the Lord. Dance Company members will be required to wear the dress code. They will also be required to be part of a worship class, one other class of choice, revival, and performance events unless there is injury, sickness, or something that prevents them from being part. Goals

1. Revivals and Church Performances: Our goal is to have our dance company members perform in revivals and church performances. Taking the choreography, our skills, and our heart for the Lord Jesus to minister to others.  

2. To be transformed to bring transformation to others: Our time in class, being equipped in dance and the word of God will give our dancers the chance to be transformed by Christ to bring transformation to others. Our dance pieces tell a story of who God is and reveal the greatest love story of Jesus Christ. The gift of the Holy Spirit will be our guide and help in all we do for Jesus! 

Specifications

Students must be 8 or older to join the Hallelujah Dance Company. Dancers must be in the required dress code for the dance class that they are participating in. Students must take the worship class to be part of the dance company and any other class of their choice. Students must attend most classes. The total number of classes that can be missed is 2 per quarter. At Hallelujah Dance School, we treat everyone with respect and kindness. If there is any meanness or any misbehavior in class/performance, this will not be allowed nor tolerated. We are a team under Christ and working together to glorify His name. We will be learning how to treat one another with love like Jesus in class!

Dates/Times/Groups

All Auditions will be held on Friday, August 23rd and each group will be based on age and skill level. Mini Glories and Little Glory Catchers will prepare our younger students for dance company when their age/skill level has met company expectations.

Glory Catchers (Ages 8-11)

Audition Time: August 23rd from 4:30-5:30 pm

Glory Throwers (Ages 12-15)

Audition Time: August 23rd from 5:30-6:30 pm

Glory Fire (Ages 16-18)

Audition Time: August 23rd from 6:30-7:30 pm

Audition results will be decided on Saturday, August 24th

Hallelujah Dance Company Divisions

Each Division continually grows in dance skills and their relationship with the Lord. When they step out into their calling, they realize their true identity in who God made them to be. Each child has a gift, and we are here to steward it and make it happen by the power of the holy spirit. 

Mini glories 

• Our first division is our pre-division level. (This is Not a Company level) This age group is from 2-4, where they are learning elementary studies in a mental, physical, and spiritual way

• The Dance Class options are the Mini Glories which has ballet and creative movement and the Tap/Jazz and Tap/Ballet combo class.

• They will begin to be introduced to the stories in the bible in a beginner's way

• Even these little ones will have the chance to dance for the Lord however they feel led by the guidance of the teacher 

• *This is a Mommy and Me type class*

Little Glory Catchers 

• This is our second division level before the dance company, where each student will begin their study of dance with a pure focus on God. (This is Not a Company level) This level is for our 5-8-year-olds, who will start to be challenged by the new steps, patterns, and movements of dancing 

• LGC group will begin to have a new look at God and worship. They will understand we need to worship with a pure heart. 

• The dance class options other than the worship class will be ballet, tap, and jazz.   

Glory Catchers 

• Our third division for the dance company is from ages 8-11 and they will be catching God’s glory 

• This division will get even more strength training in all ways and become more connected with the word of God through dance 

• It will not be about dancing for themselves but dancing for the Lord, and they will begin to catch hold of who God is and who he has made us be 

• The dance class options other than the worship class will be ballet, tap, jazz/Glory kicks, and Glory Shakers. 

Glory Throwers 

• Our fourth division for the dance company is from 12-15 years old and they will have a full understanding of who they are in Christ and how they can now spread God’s glory throughout the world through their worship.

• Their training will intensify and everything will become about serving God with all their heart. 

• They will train in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz/Glory kicks, Glory Shakers, and worship.  

Glory Fire

• The fifth division of the dance company. This is our most intense level and will include the ages 15-18

• The dance class options other than the worship class will be ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz/Glory kicks, Glory Shakers, and worship. 

• This is where they will finish off their training and go into full-time ministry dancing across the United States.

• They will be taught liturgical dance and be able to minister through their dancing. They will also be prophetic and prophesy through movement.

• The team will understand that we are in a spiritual battle and are to use our gifts and talents to Praise God and fight off the enemy. 

Psalm 68:25-24 Your procession is seen, O God, the procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary. The singers in front, the musicians last, between them virgins playing tambourines:

Exodus 15:20- Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.
